If there was something wrong with the kid in the front seat to justify parking there then why didn't he just say something?
Why should he have to justify himself?

How does the guy with the camera know one of the children arnt disabled?

Don't really see the problem myself - perhaps if supermarkets made normal spaces big enough then people wouldn't do this?

It's not like it was the last disabled space anyway, and the guy was in the car so could have moved it if needed.

Both a pair of pricks. The guy filming was clearly going to push things until he got a reaction and then wants to sympathy because he's disabled. It looks like there were other disabled bays available and the guy in the RR was obviously waiting for someone. He may have been waiting for his 8mth pregnant wife for all we know.
Being up-the-duff is not a disability.

Nor is being a pig ignorant pr**k, so chances are the RR driver has no excuses.

No blue badge displayed?

Let's not go overboard with all the fake outrage. If the driver had a good reason to need the space, he did nothing morally wrong. He doesn't have a blue badge, but maybe it was left at home or maybe any disability is temporary. In either case, there was no actual harm to anyone given that there were free blue spaces still.

My aunt has a blue badge from being obese, so the moral indignation is OTT.

Personally I think they're as bad as each other.

One can only hope that the little RR man one day genuinely needs a disabled bay . His kids ,that he's so eager to protect ,will unfortunately probably grow up to be just as entitled and selfish as this awful little toad of a man. It is the duty of the strong to stand up for the weak in society.

To be clear you think it is acceptable to physically attack a person with walking aids because they are filming you?

Wafting a camera around and giving a stranger some verbal?
Sorry, but hes provoking the guy for a response, and gets the one he didnt want.

Id agree. Both as bad as each other.

Don't think anyone is saying that.

But is it acceptable to repeatedly swear at, insult and provoke a man in front of his young children? The filmer was desperate to cause a confrontation and got one. Also, he was hardly beaten to death! The idiot just grabbed the camera (which was wrong), rather than choke-slamming him through a table.

I would probably agree with this.

The guy filming called him a retard... I doubt anyone who actually cared about disabled peoples rights would use that as an insult would they laugh He's obviously just going for a reaction. And like someone else posted, it doesn't seem like we're getting the full story either.

I don't really see a problem with him waiting in a disabled way, he might have had a reasonable excuse for doing so. He's not left the car, presumably if anyone actually needed to use the bay a 5 second conversation would have established that and he could have reversed out of it.

I said both parties are bad........

One is an old man who needs to stick is nose in everything and start recording where there are also young children involved.

The other is a stubborn tard who parks in disabled bays and starts phyiscally abusing.

But lets make it clear, the attack was purely based on provocation. You don't start filming someone and verbally abusing them and not expect them to respond back....

If the driver had a disabled child or pregnant wife and explained that to the guy filming then I guess we would not have seen the video, I had a woman berate me for parking my Fiat Coupe Turbo in a disabled bay at work, I said to her "Just bear with me" and helped my mate with Cerebral Palsy out of the car, into his chair and into the office, I then moved the car to a normal space and spoke to her, she was mortified but I just said that she was right to challenge me. We do need to get the full picture, I think RR man was just parking there with no reason in this case, but it is easy to look a pillock in these situations even with the best intentions.

It would appear the chap filming has sought to provoke a reaction, the first time he got the plate the RR driver didn't notice, the second time he did. But he must be a very brave chap to attack a man with walking aids.

I hope that plod take note of that plate, and go charge him with as many offences as they can.
not sure the police could do owt about the parking tbh, looks like a retail park with third party parking enforcement, and we all know that tickets issued in these are to be ignored, right kidsthumbup
if anything plod would be more interested in the self righteous tt with the camera, candidate for a public order offence considering the language and provocation.

There may be mitigating circumstances for the RR driver that we, or the SRT has not seen. Maybe he had a disabled, whether permanently or temporary, passenger in the car doing some shopping. i wonder how the SRT would react if said passenger came out on cripple stix.

on the other hand RR man may have just been an arrogant wit total disrespect for anyone but his Sweary Word Learning chavvies!!

In a similar vein,

i was at Alton Towers some years ago and the q's for the toilets were out the door, in between a row of cross legged men and women was a DDA toilet not being utilised, so in i went. The fooking looks i got when i came outyikes DDA's are designed and built to "accommodate" the disabled and are not for the exclusive use of, not sure this is the case for parking bays though
