What a bonkers thing.
I guess you could argue that it is not a faithful reproduction because the engine is in front of the rear axle but if you're going to start down that road...

Maybe not quite as mad as the Lazzarini concept for a Fiat 500 with a Ferrari 458 engine in it.

The original rally car looks very cool.

The rear isn't too bad, the front is horrific and the interior is questionable.

The 1977 Skoda is far nicer.

Slightly off topic but it reminds me of a mid engined skoda coupe that raced at croft in the late seventies , anyone else remember it ?

It takes quite some talent to be able to make a Skoda look stylish, but that "recreation" has certainly made the original 130RS look far more appealing
