P.S ignore the fact i want a VR6 after 2 years just saying biggrin

Does it have to be a Volkswagen? I'd be looking at sporty French hatches.

German reliabilty is key for my first car plus either of the three have that luxury feel when you get inside and i kinda want a VR6 as my second car

OP why don't you continue the thread on this subject this morning? It was a A3 this morning and the first mod you were doing was getting Brembo brakes done.

Did you budget for the Lei? wink It seems de rigueur for any younger drivers in a VW to have some flowers hanging from the rear view mirror.

Most of the car gonna stay stock wink hate messing with things and the Germans build cars to a very high standard, i dont wanna mess with something the Germans have perfected which is why a VW gonna be my first car and my last smile

Sorry just to confirm - the insurance on a A3 audi is too much yet you want to change the entire braking system from OEM to Brembo.... New brake servo, new brake lines new braided hoses, new calipers pads and discs You do realise that is potentially thousands on a car worth barely a couple of bags of sand. Also insurance companies will increase the premium for this brake modification

Im going for a VW Jetta/Passat/Golf 06-09 not an A3 anymore plus Brembo full kit £800-1100 safety feature in my opinion help car stop better and safer

Ok can you confirm your fitting new Michelin Pilot sport and brand new shocks and springs as these will be worn and increase your stopping distance.

Also what's the difference in stopping distance like for like? OEM v this "Kit". ?
