r no, look again. The instrument binnacle is an electronic display. The dash is full of Mercedes gizmos.
Came here to say the same thing. 100% a merc digital dash. Buttons tucked down the side of the cente console look merc-ish aswell. Most probably has the new TT V8 under the bonnetInteresting to see what MB parts make it to the production interior, Merc key (presumably also core ECU component), a re-branded infotainment system with the large TFT display and control wheel (think BMW iDrive in Rolls Royce products) which would also open up Telematics options, HVAC clearly visible in spy photo but likely to be upgraded to more premium look/feel/design.
Honestly I don't see it as a bad thing, Aston haven't invested in in-car technology for years and lag way behind systems from Porsche and Ferrari but has above they will need to tread carefully to make sure the parts association isn't glaringly obvious.

I think that's been shelved Neil. The facts are that Ford produce all Astons engines and that deal is over within a year. If Aston want to economically go toe to toe with Ferrari and lambo they need significantly more power.
Nope. Engine manufacturing deal for V12 is signed until 2017Andy_Palmer said:
One of the reasons for having an electric car [the DBX concept] is to allow me to continue with the V12 for longer," he told us, "of course, we've got to make it emissions compliant - the current V12 has to be completely renewed. But yes, we will have a 12-cylinder engine in our future, our customers demand that.
And it's necessary too. The only engine included in the technical partnership with Daimler is AMG's new twin-turbocharged V8
