Does it make sense for me to speak to fords (yes it's a fiesta) and ask them? Or should I ask the finance company?
Is it the 1600 turbo ST? Mountune do warranty friendly packages available through certain Ford dealers.Ali_T said:

Scaremongering and overkill. And PCP isnt repayable upon demand anyway.
Check your terms and conditions. You don't own it until the final payment is made.I'd say theres no real issue modding it, however as has been said you do need to factor in a significant change in circumstance that might lead to it being handed back early for example.
Personally, i'd be keeping all the standard bits i replaced, with a view to refitting them if required.
Its no big thing really.

Hi, this might have been asked a few times before, but if I have a car on pcp and have no intention to give it back at the end and intend to keep paying the car off, can I modify it how I want?
Thanks in advance
Can you keep paying off a PCP at the end of the contract? Thanks in advance
Isn't it the case when you come to the end of the agreed period you have to stump up the entire agreed amount? The only other option would to be get a loan if I'm understanding your post right.
What modifications are you planning? I guess you'll get away with reversible modifications.
I'd also say don't pump too much money into a little Fiesta. You'll regret it later when you work out that you could have used the money to fund a better car sooner.

You want to barry up a bogstandard Fiesta?
Have you checked with Ford finance (etc)?
6months in you want to keep it. Another 6months and youll be bored wanting to barry up another car
O/T my 70yr old Aunt drives a Fiesta ST.
I'm basically just trying to understand my options really and what's possible, plus insurance for me is an issue as I'm only 19 with 1 years no claims so am quoted a lot for the cars I really wantHave you checked with Ford finance (etc)?

I asked the question o the dealer when organising my new lease car last month and he said I could do bits to it but will have to return it to standard when I hand it back as my monthly payments are based on what they think they will get for a standard car not a hard to sell personalised one.

Bit extreme, but SEAT (VAG Finance) did it: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showpost.php?p=213...
The owner took out a personal loan to pay it off.

thats pretty horrific ! You'd be mad imo to remap a car in warranty or on pcp, especially VAG stuff as they are wise to it all now Bit extreme, but SEAT (VAG Finance) did it: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showpost.php?p=213...
