The Peugeot 905 looks particularly lost in its domestic garage.

What a waste.

With classic racing cars now worth vast sums of money, there's every chance a lot of those cars are "dummy" racers - show cars with no engines built for display. Certainly the Peugeot and what looks like a Porsche 962.

What really worries me is the headline photo - next to that old Indy car appears to be a Tasman Ferrari. It's got 6 plugs per bank, and twin low exhausts, which all point to a Dino engine, but the wheels are wrong although the correct colour. Any tifosi out there to calm my worries?

Quite a few of those are just the old show hacks with no engines, those I'm not too bothered about but there's some awesome cars just rotting away in there frown Even the manufactures would pay money to get some of those back.

I bet most of them know what they have and are asking stupid money for them.

Ah man, what i would give for that Stratos. Im sure it would be beyond my means with the restoration costs, but it would look better sat in my garage than in that yard.
There is another Stratos photo there in even worse condition. What a shame for such fantastic cars.
Looks like i will have to settle for that 037 then!
