I don't think they don't care - they do care what people think, but they think the response of those people would be "my my, that is so cool!" rather than the general consensus here.

Why else would you put additional badges and words on the back of your car? It's not for the driver's benefit otherwise they would be stuck to the dashboard.
Okay - to word it slightly better. They don't have the same sheep like creating influences in their life, or better still, they maybe do have them in their life but just ignore them.

I always appreciate when someone doesn't follow the norm. Norm is strange in itself.

If the green Rover in the OP's profile is his, then people in glass houses etc etc...
You mean the unmodified (except wheels, which were as close as I could get to factory fit) V8 which was exactly how it left MG Rover? You'll have to explain that one to me.
You've still got it then? I remember that trip to buy more chairs fondly, it's a great laugh that car. Seems like your grandad would drive it & then it makes those noises & goes like that laugh
Sadly not. cry

My old Shogun died, and having just an 11yr old V8 estate which drank petrol at an insane rate wasn't really sustainable, so it went....

The plan was to replace it with a company S-Max and keep a couple of grand back for an MX-5, old 106 GTi or something equally frivolous.

That was 18 months or so ago, and I realised that the roads in the South East are so bloody over-crowded these days that I would be buying a toy just to sit in traffic in less comfort than in the S-Max, so I spent the £2k on a new mountain bike instead, and get far more adrenaline far more frequently as a result!!!

Bet you're sorry you posted this now OP, why is the guy getting such a hard time, Range Rover looks like st, why all the digs at his own car? People will eventually stop posting anything and all we'we'll be left with is where we can buy an old barge or where the best lease deal is!
Nah... I had 6 years of people taking the piss when I owned it. Nobody was ever anything but complimentary after they'd been in it / on a hoon with it / watched it doing donuts in fields in Norfolk.... smile

yeah, who would do such a thing

In a land far away where someone asks for advice on a remap

Nothing shouts louder to the BiB "come and stop me" than aftermarket tints and exhausts driven by a young male!
How is that even similar? He was asking, this guy wasn't (about his own car) Admirable detective work however
He as asking for advice in remaps, not your opinion on his tints and exhuast.

17 posts, not exactly difficult
Careful now, if he goes we'll all be discussing barges and lease deals.
Exactly, glad it only took me 17 posts for someone to take the piss, I feel fully accepted in to the forum now!

There aren't many things I hate more than modified Range Rovers...Sports are chavvy in the extreme anyway, why in god's name would you want to make it any more?

The reflection of your windscreen vent is quite offputting too, looks like a really st diffuser on the RRS
Says the person with a boyracer hothatch...

At what point did chavs evolve from grey skinned, uneducated, tracksuit wearing, lager swilling, fag smoking work dodgers in to people who have a lot of money to splash on cars?

You're far more likely to find a wky little French tthatch on a particularly bad council estate than a Range Rover Sport.

Well, in fairness, for the latest tour they could fit in that.
