What Road Angel device do you use?

You caught my interest saying they give you your average between cameras, I drive around 35 miles of average cameras commuting every day.
I have just bought the new Gem deluxe package from Halfords believe it or not because it comes with 4 months free subscription.
My TomTom 1005 also gives you average speeds through these cameras too (a subscription is also required) but of lately it seems to go bandy on the M25 don't know why.

Interesting, thanks.

Most people aren't that precious about squeezing the last .1mph out of a limit which are often there for the safety of highway maintenance workers.
Maybe set off 10 minutes earlier?
Which workers? There never are any? The only time I actually see workers, it's at night, and there are just a few poxy cones and some half-hearted temporary signs. Very rarely seen any workers in the SPECS zones.

Got a speed awareness course out of the M1 roadworks 2-3 years ago.
57 in ave 50 at around 0200 hours
On the empty road
That came out on my 'course' too, along with discussion about active/managed motorways - apparently most, but not all, necessarily - yet! - are live all the time, even when the speed gantry signs/lights are off and at any time. So speeding through at 3.00am with no one in sight, as we used to, can easily result in points etc.

They're cunningly disguised as crowd control barriers, purple pipes and 8,9 or 11 mph signs on the M60. Never seen a soul doing anything during daylight hours so far (though I'm a desk jockey in normal working hours).
Many years of misery for precious little gain, bar some ongoing revenue & another bit of control. Probably about as useful and popular as the efforts of Salford Council on the East Lancs route into the city centre.

Still, I do 50, even though many do more and a decent number do somewhat more. However, I'm ever more discouraged from bothering to go anywhere near.

Some idiots seem to think there is still a long-standing dispute between the GMP and the highways/Gov over the 50mph limit enforcement on the M60....

The dispute ended two weeks ago.

...
13th February 2015 was not two weeks before you posted this wink .

That, clearly, agreement was reached before this date (when enforcement began) is one for the pedants... hehe

I drive the M60 every day.
50 MPH average speed cams.
From where the M62 (heading east) joins the M60 to junction 17 Whitefield.
I do 54 mph (GPS SPEED) and very few folk pass me, except for the ones.doing 70 mph.

I feel quite safe no tickets are comming my way,
BUT. would one be OK at say, 56 mph.?

How fast dare to go and still be under the radar?

I know two people fined for speeding in specs lanes

I'm afraid I dial in 50 on the cruise and doggedly trundle along.
54 MPH on M60 is ok.
Doing 54mph since the cams went live.

Not sure I would risk any more though.
