The Bongo comes back this weekend after a fairly thorough body restoration & I was hoping to give it a good coating of Waxoyl or similar.

In the past I've always used Waxoyl, but was wondering id there are any better products available.

Some of the bilthamber stuff is well regarded, Dynax S50 rings a bell. I have no direct experience though

Another vote for Dynax S50. Comes in 750ml spray aerosols with a cavity tube included. Nice and clean to use and gets into all the little crevices.

It depends on what has been done so far, but making sure everything is dead dry and clean, sealing seams making sure all drain holes are clear and good quality paint will go a long way. Bilt Hamber stuff has a very good reputation and far exceeds the ability of waxoyl.

some 3M products are very good from some restoration threads I have seen as well.

Went with the Bilt Hamber Dynax. Spent the day with the probe doing all of the cavities, now brown stuff is oozing from every orifice......

How did you you find the stuff? - A while ago I used wax oyl, and got more of it in my hair than on the car, and was not that impressed by the way it went on.

From the aerosol can pretty good to be honest, as long as you shake the can regularly, it's got a reasonably narrow spray pattern so tend not to go everywhere.

I know that Wayoyl have agents who will professionally treat a car. Anyone know someone similar who use Bilthammer in the South East?
