The driver has performed a spectacularly appalling and dangerous overtake and should be banned, however the rider who was behind on the bike with a camera could have easily stopped before hitting the cyclist in front, except he was looking at the overtaking car instead of infront of him. Collision is his fault.

No

It looks to me like he knows the area and deliberately held you up so you would miss the lights as some sort of revenge.
Agreed.
I think he was just upset that I was doing 30 in a 30 limit. I was in the correct lane for the direction I wanted (Soton) so what else could I do?

I think you're right. He is an Audi driver who in my experience are the most in a hurry people on the roads at the moment.

Simple really. No need for Sherlock on this one.
There is no mention of country road, he was talking about the truck Country Life, which clearly has the Country Life logo on the back - he wanted that to get a move on (worded slightly differently though).

So is punching someone to the ground your normal reaction to someone saying some naughty words and reading your numberplate?
So is putting a camera on your head and harassing people normal?
So is putting a camera on your head and manufacturing situations / milking situations / harassing and confronting people for making sometimes perfectly innocent mistakes in order to gain financially normal?
So is pretending your life has been put in danger when it quite clearly hasn't,but it gets hits which makes money, normal?
So is suddenly dropping all these so called moral rights in order to chase after and confront people in order to provoke a sometimes violent reaction, is that normal?

You can twist so many things in order to make you feel right, but if you want to go around confronting complete strangers then this , or as history shows, much worse will happen. If someone is prepared to drive like an utter dik, the chances are they will be a dik in many other ways so go ahead and take the chance.
There now appears to be a group of cyclists, who, on the back of revenue from hits, seem to be happy to confront any one for the smallest of things in order to create a drama. Some of these cyclists clearly have no idea about road craft or the Highway Code . They seem happy to shout and scream so I guess it really is only a matter of time until they get the wrong man and suffer. How many time do we see a clip where the cyclists feels suddenly endangered by nothing in particular or an innocent mistake only to then drop every rule of the road to chase someone down for a confrontation. A bunch of hypocritical mouth breathers..........................

It didn't surprise me, I've not reported road rage like that but some very dangerous driving by someone on the motorway.
Had the same result from that, insufficient evidence. Took them 6 months to come to that conclusion though.

Yet if you read Essex polices Twitter they were very keenly policing a local 'cruise' to prevent any incidents, it seems however when there's one during normal driving they couldn't care less.

Stopping his RR , getting out and shouting at the instructor is not an offense, if shouting at other drivers was an offense every cyclist on you-tube would be fined.

Assume the he "did not know" the passenger, assume "he was a "guy I met in the pub" and he "did not know his name"
assume he "did not see the door slam"...

what can they do ? Bullst I know but...

THIS is why it is NOT good to start shouting

As Mr Barnett tries to open the door, one of the men slams it hard on his left elbow, breaking it.
