Rear cam videos would be full of tailgating lorries, or cars with smoking tyres where they've anchored on cos they didn't see the cars ahead have slowed

Not really looking at it then are you.

Lead bike, no lights on, both bikes over speed limit, both bikes thru the cars...etc etc...

I agree it is the norm however.

I am always on watch for this but it still surprises me how much trust Bikers have in me......thanks guys

Suppose you would be the one defending the retarded bikers when the overtaking car pulls left and wipes them both out.

If the overtaking car pulled back in quickly, both riders would have been mince meat.

Speeding, yes

Could have waited for a second, yes

No light on, so what? Since when was that a legal requirement? Advisable yes but then, thanks to cars now having daylight running lights, the effectiveness is somewhat diminished.

A note on filtering, if I'm filtering, I would rather go between cars than cars that are staggered in the lanes. Reason being, a staggered car has the option to change lane, 2 running side by side do not.

Still a non event IMO, hardly worth rushing in to upload onto YouTube.

Life is short enough without filtering

I agree.

Typical small minded bigot.

Solid advice though. Don't need that kind of narrow minded idiocy polluting the gene pool
Live with them, then come back to me. I think most people can't drive anyway, with British people they seem to have 100 other things they'd rather have their mind on other than driving. With lots of Eastern europeans it's just the added essence of 'fk you I am going to do what I want' that is common.

Call me a bigot all you want, I'm just going on anecdotal evidence. It's a cultural difference in attitudes to driving, just like in India and other parts of Asia.

I've sent out job offers to Hungarians, Bulgarians, Romanians, British, Spanish, I don't give a st where people come from but I am a bigot for saying they can't drive and they have a poor attitude towards other road users. Fair enough.

That wasn't filtering, that was riding like an ahole.

No I wouldn't, but filtering like that is pretty much the norm in rush hour out of london most evenings. I also find it is better to split two parallel cars than staggered cars. I prefer to filter at speed as it seems very common for car drivers to see motorbikes and then close the gap, especially on the A13, whereas if getting a wiggle on I am generally past them before they realise.

Only the norm by those doing it?

What? I'm 44 years old and have been riding bikes for 34 of those years. Filtering in the UK is legal and can be done safely. I filter, I'm still alive, have a clean license and are accident free. You don't know what you are talking about

Can you please show me where I said that was filtering? I certainly didn't say it was

Not injured, just in a rush.
Told the police the other car drove them off the road.
Video provided to police (turned up 2 minutes later as back down the road) and the guy got 5 points.

Ouch! Noticed the car in front was the typical A12 type, sitting in the outside lane until all the way out of sight with fk all on his inside. That would have been a big insurance claim, all that barrier to be replaced, lane closure etc etc

Actually if you look at it on full screen the leading car does actually start to pull over, Fiesta goes for the undertake just as he does this and hence ensuing carnage!
