The mazda 3 driver did appear to slow down according to my wife. The audi driver could quite easily have pulled in for a second to let it pass then go again.

Why did you keep accelerating towards the idiot when he joined the roundabout? Classic cammer behaviour to make a close call out of a nothing incident.

That's the thing with these dash cameras, people are trying to make more of an incident than it is.

Even of reflection of the video, they still can't see sense.

Yep.

a) You had loads of time to see them and did nothing so that you got to beep your horn to prove a point
b) You didn't see them start to enter the roundabout and should not be driving

I see examples of a) all the time. People in the right lane of the A1 are queuing up behind a lorry. Car on the left lane (not undertaking) wants to pull into right lane. Indicates. Moves into a gap. Car in the right lane does not give more room but instead accelerates and then has to brake. Cars behind then brake. What should be a simple manoeuvre turns into a needless incident.

Too many people see driving as a competitive sport, or a way of stamping their authority on everyone else.

Absolutely. Saw that a mile off, no need to do the late brake and lean on the horn.

As mentioned above this is classic dashcam behaviour. I wonder how you'll react to these comments, hopefully you'll take the criticism on board and use it to moderate your driving behaviour.

It wasn't that bad. Yes, saintly behaviour would have been to lift off and make nothing of it. The Rav4 driver deserved the honk and if we're lucky they'll stop dithering out on to roundabouts and expecting other people to accomodate them. Literally everyone here has at some point continued on their intended speed and course and braked late to make a point.

I'd probably have blown the horn at them which I know is wrong in itself but I certainly wouldn't have got that close that quickly. All it takes is for the (obviously st) RAV4 driver to suddenly slow when they hear the horn and you're in their back bumper. Just not worth it.

I've seen a lot worse from cam users in other dashcam vids but still, it's making something of nothing.

Utter bellend needs removing from the road.

It's one thing to divert your attention on a straight bit of road but quite another to do it when coming up to a blind brow with a signposted bend on a road you clearly don't know otherwise he would've made it round the corner.

More than likely, but if he had stopped it would've been just after a bend over a brow, so definitely not a safe place to stop.

I agree. The overtake on your missus was fine (she didn't need to move over) but the overtake on the truck was distinctly dodgy.
