Blimey! A load of "once a year" bad driving incidents all in 2 minutes, not to mention the weird "Crash van. Run away" incident!
"Hwat the fok was dat all about"

My thoughts exactly! I don't think I'd have pulled over either.
Undercover cops after some knackers?

The Russians can't drive for toffee, or they are all full off Vodka.
... Or toffee vodka. The one thing I conclude from watching these Russian ones is that no matter how well you think you drive, or how alert you are, some dork in a lada will do something stupid.

I don't think we have much to complain about in our driving ability as a nation, compared to there.

What is going off here then? Any news? Looks like the Astra and 4x4 try and block the van in, van stacks it then all occupants leg it. 4x4 driver looks to be in a hurry to get something out the back, presumably a weapon? Van occupants see weapon and leg it?

I never had much desire to go to Russia anyway as the whole place creeps me out but should I ever find myself there, I know for sure I won't be hiring a car - if the numerous dash cam videos I've seen are anything to go by, the driving standard out there are virtually non existent.

The Russian dashcam vids are just poster boys for inappropriate speed.

"Traffic's doing 15mph, we're approaching a crossing. 60mph on the outside seems fine..."

I've driven through Russia, They have a zero tolerence policy on drink driving. If your over the limit, instant ban, twice and its a jail term.

Normally makes the locals get super tanked, as 1% or 200% over the limit have the same punishment.

Saw many many crashes while I was out there, including one where the driver and the passenger literally ran into the hills.

I don't understand what one is supposed to do at those crossroads with a zebra crossing on all 4 sides. There don't seem to be any markings to give way or stop and basically seems like a free for all? The vast majority of the crashes are at those junctions as people just go flying through them at full speed. confused

As it works in the civilized world, you give way to people crossing the zebra and vehicles coming from your right, in Russia it seems a little different.

Same thing you'd do here if there was a set of traffic lights out for instance.

However in Russia/the 'Stans its a) Either fly across and hope for the best, or b) tip toe but don't hang around once you've got a path due to people doing a).

Here is an odd one. I cannot work out if the bang you hear before the horn is them hitting them or the dashcam driver did initially drift into them or was the other driving too fast on the inside?

But what I cannot understand is why the dashcammer carries on driving without pulling over. But then again I find it very odd the other driver is asking for money.

Scam or not?
(I have no connection to either driver).

Bus driver was in the wrong and I hope his employers consider very carefully whether they want someone like that working for them.

Neither of those people should have a driving licence. The bus could hardly back up, I expect. The annoying little kid should have got out of the way!

He says something about a car coming around the outside/overtake on the cones. Then there is the bang, then he keeps driving, and there's a second bang?

Description says it's all a scam attempt, too much essay to bother copying here.

the bang was just a rut on the road i think.

does the dashcam driver say something like 'he's trying to overtake on the left' so he moves over knowing the fiesta driver is there? Also continues coming over even after the horn is sounded.

So IMO the dashcammer could/should have avoided it but chose not to.

Fiesta driver is a bit of a knob for the 'give us some money' and 'I should drag you out the car comments'
