Sums up the cyclist / driver videos in a funny way.
This was on a few pages ago and a few pages before that.

Heavy Traffic.
Tailgates van so closely he can't stop in time.
Inevitable happens.
Immediately gets up and blames van driver.

Hopefully reflects on crash later and realises it was all his own fault.

I think he was saying "I'm OK". Didn't look like he was blaming anyone

Someone I used to work with was once in the car with her husband following a lorry that flicked up a scaffolding pole that had been left lying in the road, presumably after falling off another lorry. She says she remembers it bouncing end over end and going through the windscreen, rather like the log going through the windscreen of that rally car, and stopping a fraction of an inch short of impaling her face.

Championing Great British Quality Driving, not too bad, but the worst bit had already happened - looks like he missed the "low bridge" sign so was turning round in a farm entrance

Me too. Soon as he got up he was over to the driver & the rest of the video shows him doing a fair bit of finger-pointing.

As an artic driver myself, given the lack of space, road width and traffic levels he's done well to get that turned round there. Of course none of that excuses ignoring the bridge height signs.

Saw a transporter full of brand new Audis doing the same a couple of weeks ago - wasn't quite so tight to turn around but not far off!

He's a gimp who's brought a busy rush hour road to a standstill for absolutely no good reason, and will cause big delays to a lot of people. He doesn't look like he's acting in abject apology to everybody to me. smile

Wonder if he phoned up a local radio station later that day to try to apologise to as many people as possible?

Haha! I always think people miss this part of why you're a to drive dangerously on a motorway. If you end up closing the M1 for hours, you royally fk up thousands of people's days. Multiply 'pissed off' by that big a number and it's quite a big downside; and the economic cost is considerable.

I'm not saying that people should have to pay into the consolidated fund when they recklessly cause an accident that closes a motorway...oh....wait a minute...that might be quite good.

I would like to see that Power Ranger carefully treated at hospital to make sure he is OK and then handed a bill for £100k for the inconvenience and clear up costs.

fking hell that vauxhall at around 1.58 - 2.25 needs kneecapping

Two attempts to get somebody to run into the back of him inside 2 mins, a clearer case of crash for cash would be hard to find.

Not UK and helmet cam, but the guy on the bike clearly is the helmet. Someone wants to go faster but he decides to police the road, refusing to move over. Then when in traffic later, decides to get off his bike, assault the driver of the car and smash his window. Motorbike then speeds off.
