Proving how well hard they are, at a guess. Interestingly, the speed readout on the camera must be slow to respond because it seems to be registering a pretty high speed at the moment of impact. The guy did a fantastic job of that emergency braking, and the brakes seem to have done a great job. The kid cannot have been hit at much speed at all, otherwise he wouldn't have got up like that and walked off, surely?!

The motorbike riders who got hit in the first clip were clearly up to no good. Either those kids were as well or they were just wrapped up in their own minds and not paying attention like kids often are. When they get focused on something it can completely cut them off from the world around them.

Cyclist demands 24m HGV to reverse when they have both come to a chicane. The cyclist had right of way, but according to eye witnesses the HGV had already entered the narrow lane at the bus stop when the cyclist appeared at speed and entered the same narrow lane, demanding the HGV to reverse. For 10 minutes the cyclist stood in front of the HGV blocking the road and threatening to call the police, finally a student who was in a hurry to get to a exam promptly dragged the bike and the cyclist off the road so that the HGV was able to continue.

I had a quick update on the incident I reported a few weeks ago - https://youtu.be/jQO3fWJid74?t=57s - the bad news was that the lady it was registered to didn't exist (!) and no neighbours had ever heard of her, so it was suspected to be an illegal 'pool' car for various individuals.

The good news was that the car had already been impounded as the driver had been arrested for at least 4 serious crimes - and was likely to do serious jail time for them - as such the careless driving charge was a bit superfluous, but he thanked me for bringing the car to their attention.
