Cam car was in blind spot of RR, RR could've looked, saw it clear and started moving. 90/10 to the cam car there.

This. He was a fk wit. Use the front. The rears for pulling skids infront of girls.

This Is the difference with cyclists

A car driver sees a pedestrian and anticipates to need to stop.

A cyclists continues as normal
He quite possibly used both. I'm almost scared to say this on here for fear of a lynching but I used to work as a cycle courier in Edinburgh so have done my fair share of emergency stops and evasions of meandering tourists and u-turning taxis. A full on emergency stop using both brakes, assuming you don't actually lock the front would tend to result in the rear coming round, same as on a motorbike as it will just lock up. In fact I wouldn't even use the back brake on a motorbike in the dry for an emergency stop as the rear wheel is pretty much off the ground anyway.
a decent avid v-brake or similar will stop that bike on a 50 piece, he's grabbed the wrong brake in the heat of the moment because if it was both he'd have done a stoppy. If its last second braking like I suspect it is, you don't think, its impossible your brain just grabs a handful of brake. Its just a typical urban rider who has very little skill. I see videos all the time of these mamils, they have fk all skill, they can cycle and that's it. Christ I could have stopped my motorbike in that distance.
Is that a motorbike with big fat tyres and twin hydraulic disc brakes with sufficient weight transfer to keep the front tyre planted?

23mm tyres running 100 PSI have fk all grip in the wet, grab a big handful of front and you're going to faceplant every time.
apologies, I watched it again, it is in fact a wky road bike not a mountain bike like I seemed to recall, as I said earlier its more focused than my track bike for the uk's roads and completely impractical. Case proven.

Youtube scan all their videos for copyright material and give you the option to remove it. If you choose to keep it, adverts will automatically be added and the money raised will go to the copyright owner, not you. So, Mr Zappa will be quite happy leaving his tunes on the vid.
You're assuming that whoever owns the rights to the track in question has delivered it to the Content ID system.

Good grief the guy with the camera is a terrible passenger. "keep driving", "change gear", "Read out the number plate for the purposes of the video please? Amy? *sigh*" Shut up and let the driver of the car drive!

Well of course they've seen each other, just got into a kerfuffle over which side to pass each other, that's all.

Related news story, http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3333269/Sh...

Apparently the company believe there are circumstances where the van drivers behaviour would be acceptable.

DailyMail said:
Plumbers 24x7 have said that they believe the video doesn't show the 'full extent of the situation,' and that they 'have spoken with the engineer.'

'We don't condone violence in any way,' shape or form, said the representative. 'However we do feel the video only shows one side of the story.

Not sure about their cars but I know mine keeps the brake lights on with 'autohold' when you come to a stop at lights for example.

What is the Peugeot drivers problem in this one.

She has conceded, and is prepared to drop in behind him, but he's still not happy.

Not really bad driving but I though this was a tad worrying.

I witnessed this last night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiU8E5Ch2g0

At 27 seconds watch the bus engine bay catch fire.

Bus driver eventually got the hint with all the horn blowing and light flashing.

Apparently these "thermal incidents" are rather common.

all the light flashing is going to make him think you are another nutcase who wants to beat him up for some reason hehe
Yes agreed this was in Belfast after all, they tend to hijack and petrol bomb our buses and use them as road blocks. It was suggested I should have jumped out and ran to the front of the bus to warn him.

He would probably have floored it into oncoming traffic to get away.

I had a [sort of] similar thing last night. Nipped into Sainsbury's on the way home at around 20:00. As we were leaving the car park, the Civic in front didn't bother with his lights.
I flashed, he ignored. I flashed more, he ignored more. We're now at traffic lights and stuff coming towards us is flashing, more ignorance.
A Sainsbury's delivery van pulls up next to him, buzzes down the window and shouts to attract attention. Ignored. Beeps his horn. Ignored. Gives up.
Lights go green, more flashing from me and eventually, a few hundred yards later, his lights pop on! Huzzah.

I can only presume that he's the sort of wally who gets shouted at/flashed/beeped on the roads so often that it simply washes over him, unregistered.

Too many keyboard cyclists on PH lol, wet road, race tyres you are locking up and skidding regardless of front or rear. He was going to fast for the conditions and the congestion but the ped should have been a little more diligent with crossing.
