A Sainsbury's delivery van pulls up next to him, buzzes down the window and shouts to attract attention. Ignored. Beeps his horn. Ignored. Gives up.

I can only presume that he's the sort of wally who gets shouted at/flashed/beeped on the roads so often that it simply washes over him, unregistered.

The way they talk about cutting him up you can just tell they are the type to do such a gesture, feel untouchable then crap it when they get a reaction.
50 percent of drivers do this, and 90 percent of these are women.
