Oh right, best place for it is the road then. In fact better than that, if you've got an unpredictable and untrained nag, put your child on it and then put it on the road.

Anyone agree the cyclist doesn't appear phased at all?
What time in the vid?
sorry quoted wrong vid - edited - admittedly it looks close and not condoning it, but does it look closer than it is?

It's a bad move by the van, cyclist gets on with it because they're a sensible human being and not a conflict seeking bellend with adenoids.

Did the van go in the factory or down the junction?
I cant tell whether it was half inch in front of the bike or a few feet

While some are quoting the Highway Code, I think the most relevant rule is:

Rule 147
Be considerate. Be careful of and considerate towards all types of road users, especially those requiring extra care (see Rule 204).

  • you MUST NOT throw anything out of a vehicle; for example, food or food packaging, cigarette ends, cans, paper or carrier bags. This can endanger other road users, particularly motorcyclists and cyclists.
  • try to be understanding if other road users cause problems; they may be inexperienced or not know the area well.
  • be patient; remember that anyone can make a mistake.
  • do not allow yourself to become agitated or involved if someone is behaving badly on the road. This will only make the situation worse. Pull over, calm down and, when you feel relaxed, continue your journey.
  • slow down and hold back if a road user pulls out into your path at a junction. Allow them to get clear. Do not over-react by driving too close behind to intimidate them.
That deserves quoting (again and again)

Apparently it wasn't actually clear to the right.

But I'm sure you'll delete this comment just like all the others you delete that point out when YOU'RE in the wrong or trangress the Highway Code.

Coward.

On a B road? That's even worse, and absolutely pointless in complaining about the speed of traffic. If you're going to use untrained nags at least stick to the unclassifieds.

I've never understood the concept of using untrained horses (that can be 'spooked' at any time) and untrained riders, and the idea of putting children on them is just bizarre.

How does one train a horse to go on the road without the horse going on the road?

I think the point is that some horses won't bother about a speeding car. I imagine some horses won't bother if the rider hears the car coming and keeps the horse's mind off the car, but obviously that's not possible if Johnny Fiesta approaches at full chat and the episode lasts a couple of seconds.

Anyway we should all be following the Highway Code and I hope we do wrt horses readit And I of course consider all other road users to be a pain in the arse biggrin

Like you , they are mostly trained before they go on the road but like you they can be total nobs when they decide to be....

335 was acting like a dick. So was the cam car for taking the bait. Cam car stopped him taking the exit he wanted.

We all know the cam car should have just backed off and let the 335 do his thing, but his Teutonic pride was being tested wink.

Pulls out right in the path of a car. But not to blame.

Comment(s) gone.

In any case, since when does one determine (and commit) that the road is clear 10 - 15ft *before* the junction?
Clearly not clear right, douche bag.
I'm not quite sure what the guy is even claiming. Does he think the red car appeared out of thin air? Genuinely bemused!
You can clearly see the car approaching as he stops for his third freeze frame.

When he's going too fast down a hill and someone sees him at the last second before stopping, he's still a victim of a terrible motorist (this one has been posted here before) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oesq0tqNjQo

He just thinks he's always right, even when situations are reversed between him and motorists.
