Mr Stockdale, who runs a dashcam company, followed the lorry to a depot in Dunstable where an ambulance took him to hospital with neck and shoulder pain.

How convenient!
Those light scratches on the side of the car do look very severe, he's lucky to get out alive.

All the typical signs of another dashcam wk3r
- Edited footage - what happened before this, he obviously did something to ps off the lorry driver?
- Why is he doing less than 50mph (lorry sailed past him) in lane 2 when lane 1 is clear?
- Why is he not in lane 1 where he should have been all along?
- If an articulated lorry is swerving at you at 50mph would you not get the fu(k out of the way for your own safety especially when lane 1 is and had been clear for a long time,
- Re his claim for whiplash, it should be thrown out for not mitigation (and lorry driver should also be put off the road).
- Take the dashcam away and he would have acted very difficult

I don't condone the behaviour of the HGV driver, but fk me, it states that he had been in the middle lane for quite sometime on the article. Everything you have said is spot on. Id prosecute the HGV driver but id also go after him.

What makes me really angry is the whiplash, fking whiplash. A drain on public resources, tying up a ambulance for that.

Watching the unedited footage here it's even more his fault what an utter bell. I bet the haulage company just accepted it because they could see this dipst was just going to cause hassle if they fought it.

amazing, not even a 15 tonne HGV colliding into him can get him out the middle lane.

Haulage company was Wincanton (large PLC logistics company) and driver was an agency driver (so not on Wincantons books), so Id guess for both PR and for the sake of quickly closing out wincanton settled straight away as they don't have the problem of having to discipline a driver as he is not on their books (im sure the agency got a b0lliking / dropped). What they didnt factor is that they are dealing with one of the UKs biggest bellend (probably 2nd only to our cyclist friend uphillfreewheeler)

Also, the YouTube channel hosting the vid (snappily titled PoliceWitness) has comments disabled, so we can add that to the list of wky things these self righteous twunts do.

The picture of him on the BBC News site has a photo of him holding his young daughter in the background, in a photo frame emblazoned with the word 'daughter' and 'love' about a million times. Bonus twunt points!

FWIW I've nothing against dashcams in the same way that I have nothing against bicycles. It's just that they both seem to overwhelming owned by people that the wolves would have had if they'd have lived a century earlier......

hehe

Obviously in these situations the right thing to do is slow down so now the HGV in lane one is also closing on you, removing your escape route.

Then, put your hazards on, that will help.

As with others, he's disabled comments on his videos because the truth hurts. But the comments for his channel are open it appears. https://www.youtube.com/user/PoliceWitness/discuss...

Totally disagree. You need a dashcam to capture dicks like this Matthew Stockdale, hopefully the HGV gad a dashcam too.

Look at this rage-o-holic psycho I caught on a bicycle last week, the guy was a mentalist. If the Volvo would of hit him I would have proof what a knob the cyclist was. I'm not a "Dashcam Warrior", but feel safe that I could perhaps prove my innocence if the worst happened. Much cheaper than a solicitor.

Watch till the end, very funny. Excuse me screaming OMG like a girl, but I really thought there was going to be an accident.
