Totally disagree. You need a dashcam to capture dicks like this Matthew Stockdale, hopefully the HGV gad a dashcam too.

Look at this rage-o-holic psycho I caught on a bicycle last week, the guy was a mentalist. If the Volvo would of hit him I would have proof what a knob the cyclist was. I'm not a "Dashcam Warrior", but feel safe that I could perhaps prove my innocence if the worst happened. Much cheaper than a solicitor.

Notice the lane / speed compared to the two approaching rear lorries.... smile

Completely avoidable.
On the previous page, guy hogging the middle lane is causing an offence if he's been driving like that for ages, however it could be said he had just overtaken the lorry in lane 1. lorry is in the wrong for 1. hitting the guy, and 2. going into lane 3.

What an angry man. Not sure what will kill him first, heart failure or him riding into a large vehicle.

Anyway we should all be following the Highway Code and I hope we do wrt horses readit And I of course consider all other road users to be a pain in the arse biggrin
I'm tempted to say I will if you will, but I know that won't happen. I'll continue to slow to a crawl while being glared at by someone who still thinks 5mph is too much, whilst fecking horseboxes will still continue to drive at half the speed limit or less with the mother of all queues stuck behind.

Without a shadow of doubt, horsey types are the single most selfish of road users and they should feck right off in my considered opinion. p)

Like you , they are mostly trained before they go on the road but like you they can be total nobs when they decide to be....
Trained, my arse. Mounted police can ride around here in the middle of Brum without cavorting up and down on their nags waving their arms madly and shouting at everyone who passes, and their nags take not the slightest bit of notice of the traffic.

The average horse on our roads is no more trained than I'm a trained astronaut.

HGV in L3, tut tut tut, car MLM, tt. The trucker could have misjudged the pull in, wouldn't even know he had kissed the car.

This isn't what he said when he called the police. "A driver who says he was "deliberately and repeatedly rammed" by a lorry"

This happened last night

https://youtu.be/fe_NOhRMXZ4

I have no idea what happened before I got there but the driving of the HGV is pretty shocking and at the end, the driver gets out and kicks at the Audi drivers car before the Audi speeds off. Didn't have the best angle to be honest and there was no way I was getting in front of that lorry risking getting involved.

People taking horses onto the road are a fking menace. If they can't handle traffic driving along at a completely appropriate speed for the road they are travelling on then they should fk right off into a field somewhere where they can impersonate a Police officer and lay massive piles of steaming ste well out of every other s way.
Do you really think the red car was "appropriate"?

Lmao, guy can't drive for st.
Seriously, that roundabout work is quite appalling driving. Not only does he do a random, mid-roundabout, unsignalled lane-change; but then he positions himself along the outside of an HGV on a bend, and shows no response to the 'merge' arrows in his lane.

Unless he's deliberately driving provocatively (not impossible), he's a very poor driver.

As I said before it wouldnt be me, but it was past quickly and over and done with, without giving the horses any grief.
Sometimes you can go too slowly past a horse and it'll go all circly in front of you also as said before
and it might have been a horse owner who knows what upsets a horse the least

You're right. Easily-startled animals are absolutely fine with large, fast-moving objects appearing out of nowhere from behind. No grief at all.

I don't get why it's suddenly OK to do this, and why slowing to crawl past (as recommended by the highway code and horse owners/riders) is such a problem.

It's not suddenly ok smash How did the horse look?
At least it was a proper working horse rather than one of them slow old race horses, who are not used to having fast or noisy things around them

Does he really expect to be taken seriously with that? The site screams amateur, he's got a whole section on his lack of education, and then he suddenly has "space weather" pictures on display. It looks like he's trying to present himself as some sort of pillar of society, and it's not working!

I'd like to bring two terms into common use on the SDCoD thread:

1) 'Psyclist' - a cyclist with mental issues (eg. see 'UphillFreeWheeler'). Will typically hunt out or create confrontation in order to record for upload to YouTube, allowing them to demonstrate to the rest of us that they're a smug who's in the wrong.

2) 'DCW' (Dash Cam Wcensoredr) - a psyclist in a car (eg. see 'Matthew Stockdale'). Will typically hunt out or create confrontation in order to record for upload to YouTube, allowing them to demonstrate to the rest of us that they're a smug who's in the wrong.

The rage from him is hilarious. he probably positioned himself there to begin with because of the parked cars on the other side of the road, defensive riding to prevent an overtake. Not wise to overtake on the bridge either.
