what like mine? pictured above (on Monday). Much better than Vx standard grille.
I had a '56 plate with the facelifted front bumper, the irmy grille for that one is just totally black with the tiny irmy car silhouette logo

Much better than the vauxhall grille.

This isn't the grille I had but that looks exactly my Signum did, same colour, same bodykit bits, window tints etc, minus the elite trim bits- chrome door handles and roof racks.

I can find loads of the other grilles but the one I had seems to only have the generic store photos for buying it:

I'm still rocking my '56 plate Signum. Bought 4 years ago when money was tight and i needed something comfy for the motorway commute. 60000 miles later its on 120000 and still going strong without any faults. I've loaded the boot with railway sleepers for a veg patch, driven across europe, slept in it, numerous fully loaded trips to the lake district and scotland and despite longing for something that doesn't corner like a coffin on ice skates i can't really fault it. I'm constantly toying with replacing it and then i'll need to do a tip run or help someone move a freezer and suddenly it makes sense all over again.

Alas, siggy is no more! Sold it in 2018 after four years and 60k miles in my ownership. Costs got a bit silly in the end, last MOT was £1k on age related things like brake pipes, shocks etc. It wasn’t happy when refuelled, had to leave the engine running to get around that little quirk. In the end though, no corrosion, engine still went well, all toys still worked... weighed it in for an S4. Understand car was bought last year after a few months on a forecourt, it’s still on the roads according to the tax people!

Having read this years ago, and just come across it again I would like to weigh in my tuppence worth...

My wife and I bought our turquoise Signum in 2011 after looking at loads and waiting for a low miler, privately owned one to appear. At the time they were all ex-company cars with high mileages. We found what was to be our one from an retired couple in Kent.

We bought it with 34,000 miles on the clock. Today, December 2019, it has 113,000 miles on it and so far has been a fantastically reliable and brilliant family car. I admit that being the Exclusiv spec it could use some extra toys and gadgets but, for what it is and what it has cost me it has been a brilliant car.

It was originally my wife's car, and she absolutely loved it. Unfortunately she had to stop driving due to medical reasons in 2013, so the car wasn't used too much. I sold it in 2014 and, in 2015, when my wife was near the end I bought it back. Yeah, I know, my cars own me emotionally.

When I bought it back I changed the cloth interior for an unused half leather one, added the Travel Assistant and later replaced the horrid vinyl steering wheel with a leather one. In 2017 I changed the wheels for the optional ones as I had always liked them.

Things that have gone wrong.... The alternator died two days after buying it (first time around). The inlet manifold swirl flaps also failed, which is par for the course with these apparently. Other than that, regular, proper servicing has seen it through. Oh, and regularly checking the scuttle panel drains. It can be a bit heavy on tyres and front spring.

I admit that although the colour (it's called Peacock or Turquoise), is unusual and looks really good (in my opinion) after a good detailing session, it is a bit of a bummocks to keep looking good as it shows EVERYTHING!

It has been a reliable daily driver and slightly different 'Dad family car, being used for holidays, days out, load lugging, tip runs and helping my partner move her stuff in last year. I also discovered that a 6 foot x 3 foot snooker table fits in the back perfectly!

Being that I have no desire to change it or sell it again, and because it has been such a good car, I may well add some of those toys next year....
