Kia sorento issues

Hi all! Posted in the off road section the other week, but I reckon I'll get a faster response in hither!
I've got a 2003 sorento diesel, which I use for towing a trailer for work. I'd noticed the ride from the back was ridiculously hard to the point of being unbearable, and after noticing other sorentos sitting a bit higher at the back, I done some investigation. On inspection the car was sat on its bumpstops, which manifested itself in a broken coil spring. After replacing both rear springs, the car is still sat on its bumpstops! I really have no clue as to what else could be the issue!
