Scrapping a rare Rover
Discussion
Got a Rover 200 BRM and it is showing it's age. It's been used and abused. I tried to sell it but got time wasters and some tt wanting to buy it for scrap. I had someone claiming he was an enthusiast contacting me and he has gone quiet. Any other options options to me ? Seems a shame to scrap it but hey hoo if it means less hassle then I'm happy too.
They do indeed come with a torsen equipped PG1 gearbox - I would guess that on it's own this would recover more than the value of scrapping the car.
There are some enthusiast clubs/forums and facebook groups, you shouldn't struggle selling through one of them. Joking aside it would be a shame to scrap it.
