We have a Cayenne and was struck by how many people wouldn't let us out at junctions, kids swearing at us etc.

I quite like it shows we are different and better than the knobeads of this world!

Anyone else experienced this?

Does it? Am I a knob head in my 14 year old mondeo? I suppose I'll start not letting out Cayennes and encouraging children to swear at them then.

A quick and accurate diagnosis. Have you thought about taking your skills to the NHS? smile

I dont think that the general public really are that bothered by seeing a Cayenne, they are pretty numerous and can be bought from six grand up, I doubt that they are plunged into a seething jealous rage that makes them shout at you.

Do you not think that it could be your driving ?

Or the fact you are driving a 2 tonne truck about when there is no need, I have to say when I had my Cayenne I never once got any bother, just got rid as it was a pain in the backside to park.

My wife has a Speed yellow Boxster, so not very subtle. She get let out of junctions etc all the time, but she doesn't drive like a knobhead, or treat other non porsche drivers as a knobhead either. Maybe its just the OP?

Perhaps the ugliness of your Cayenne has made the kids cry and the parents don't what to let you out so they don't have to stare at it's bloated arse for the next 10 minutes!

I had a Boxster for 5 years with no issues and I drove a Freelander 2 for 4 years with no significant issues.

Some people have issues with SUVs, some have issues with Porsche's, it's going to happen at some point but I never found myself thinking "This wouldn't have happened if I wasn't driving this car".

A truly obvious ruse but the concept had great potential. 3/10.

Next time keep the punchline until your second or third post in the thread.
