Never seem to see any of those hideous Mansory modified cars for sale.

Which is a good thing.

seriously you've got issues. jealousy is not a good thing just because i have the money to go and buy an M135I with cash outright.
I believe it is envy to which you refer.

I saw a Nissan Micra 'Envy' on my way to work this morning. I was wondering what the Envy part of its model designation referred to, I now realise it was the owner's feeling toward 1 series drivers, or realistically drivers of almost all other cars that are not Nissan Micras.

Porsche 959's are somewhat rare
Ferrari 512 TR's don't often appear, but there are one or two out there.
I was at Technoclassica Essen the other week, got chatting with a bloke who reckoned he'd just bought two 959s at the show, and was trying to close the deal on a third

That's because it doesn't exist.

I've never seen a Land Rover Series 2 with the original N/A 2.0 diesel, or a Roadless Traction "Forest Rover" (effectively a Series 2 built for Forestry Commissions and such). Both were very rare even when new, only 20 or so of the latter were ever delivered.

Also a Suzuki LJ80 came up for sale recently, been years since I last saw one for sale;

Indeed - hence why I never see it for sale.

There was one for sale in the PH classifieds about three years ago, maybe a little more, for something like £200,000 IIRC.
They are certainly fetching a good price. I love the old Group B homologation specials.

The trend of the suggestions seems to be rare cars are least up for sale, no shock really. Nice to see some adverts for some of the rare metal though.

Love the M1 but the double badges just annoy me!
Argggh. You've ruined them for me now!

This is worse than when somebody mentioned that the 288 GTO's wing mirrors are a bit too big.
