I wonder if the glory of this will only be viewable when it's all done...if it'll ever really be, done.

Watching Avengers Assemble and the SHIELD high command mention 'phase 2' which I guess is a reference to the events in Winter Soldier.

It'll be nice to watch this old (2011) film to see future nods and foreshadowing.

The Bond films currently get shown throughout the year, one after the other...imagine if a station buys the MCU and then shows them on chronological order? biggrin

My lad has recently taken an interest, so we watched them all in order.

They certainly do work as parts of a bigger whole.

I guess for the full effect you'd need to phase in AoS as well, and the short films.

AoS certainly plays into the Avengers films well.

Currently, there are 6 films & 3 one-shots in Phase 1, then 6 films, 2 one-shots, 2 seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. & a season of Agent Carter in Phase 2. Phase 3 adds in 9 more films (10 counting Spiderman) and at least 1 more season for both AoS & Agent Carter. Then there's the Netflix series...

Apparently they have the films planned till 2028, by which time it'll probably take a couple of years to watch them all in sequence.

It'll be interesting to watch if their popularity stays high thus allowing them to continue.
I feel a dip in popularity might allow for a tad more creativity.
But from what I hear Daredevil is extremely good.

My plan is to collect all the Bluray films they did a very limited run of box sets for phase 1 but now you can't get hold of it. Very odd.

Ant-Man...'kin ell, what a tidy lil film. Funny, interesting, great fight scenes, decent and well round backup characters and side-kicks, and Pym's daughter is well fit.

Loved Antman and thought the bit with the falcon was very good. Also seemed to be just the right length and never had a boring moment. A lot better than age of ultron in my opinion.

I enjoyed the Falcon bit too, a lot of people grumbled at the so-called 'shoehorning', but that is the whole point of the MCU, characters drop in and out, it's revolutionary.

Yeah, they were one of the eldest races who helped the 'fifth race,' the Terrans/modern humans.

Had no idea Malick was in Avengers Assemble, and he was aleady pushing for 'Phase 2!'
The MCU should be pretty staggering when it's done. biggrin
