I think the key is depreciation. If it is close to r at bottom of curve it makes senE, if it has £20k drop to go it doesn't!
Have you driven one matt? They're a bit marmite.

997 Turbo values have been static for quite a while now, I don't see why they would drop significantly. Another option at £40K to £45K is the Cayman R which should be about as bulletproof on residuals as you can get (get a manual with bucket seats).

I'm sorry we're not all as thick as you need us to be. It's fairly obvious that you're either the same person or his little friend sharing the soggy biscuit with him while he embarrassed himself all night, given that you joined PH after he shut up and of your 3 posts the 2 I've found so far have been defending him.
Please sir do not call me thick as this makes you come across as a rude person. Yes you are correct that I do know M135IBOSS and I can honestly say he meant no harm, hes just in love with the M135i so much infact that he has gone out and purchased one today.

Sweet!

How fast was his 0-100?

Did he get much drifting done in that M1?
TBH I've not spoken to him in much detail hes busy driving around. I'm happy for him though that he has finally accomplished in getting the car that he has so long lusted for.
