A few questions for all phers!

Hi all

Ive got myself a nice S320 CDI 2003

1. I have found some wheels I want to replace the current ones with. Ones on the car right now are 225/60/16's and Ive found some W221 wheels 235/55/17's. Will these fit on my w220? They are both 5x112

2. Ive checked the oil type specs on castrol website which advise 5w30 or 0w30. The cars had 10w40 in it for the past few years but im unsure which is the best 10w40 oil to use in my 3.2 CDI

For the wheels check the offset and centrebore.

10w 40 is fine the Wheels will fit no problem

why would anyone use 10w oil in a modern engine
may as well be using lard

how are these questions for all phers?

title implies some sort of poll or topic of debate rather than some question about someone's 12 year old diesel

Your wheels will physically fit but they'l be 6.95mm taller giving a speedo error of 2.05%, not something that'd bother me but...
