I agree with Toys,

The front is overly fussy but from the side and back it looks great.

I had a go at saving the front end. Love the rest of the car but the front wasn't 'CSL' enough for me... Thoughts? boxedin

The designers are trying much too hard. How dare they say it's an "hommage" to the original. Whilst the original road car was a lithe, elegant thing of beauty, that just looks fat and bloated.

Woosh Parrot at the ready, but it is actually called Hommage, double m, by BMW? As was the M1 Hommage (which kinda sorta turned into the i8, if you stand on one leg, tilt your head and squint at it a bit).
Hommage is a German word for homage.

That looks epic, way better than what BMW came up with!

Well they certainly screwed that up!

Way too fussy, and lost it's purposeful look. No idea what's going on with those wheel arches from the side. Missed opportunity I think.

Just blend out the stoooopid slashes on top of the front wings and your onto a winner.

It looks a lot better in a nicer colour with a different grille. smile I'd like the bonnet to be curved downwards a bit more from the arches forwards, so the edges of the headlights are flush with the edges of the white panels. That would also make the black grille slightly shorter. smile
