The only thing stopping me from buying one is the lack of a roadster or the impending special editions.

Love the car, but I know in a few months there'll be something much better out (and I don't want to have the Audi R8 base version Huracan).

Its pretty obvious.

Compared to its rivals, its dull.

The word Lamborghini and dull should never be in the same sentence, however the new ones just done stir the soul like the old ones did. Beautful car and i dare say superbly engineered, but its lost that desirability factor Lambos are usually adored for.

I don't understand the article. It starts out by suggesting that the market value of cars is an indicator that they're not selling, then goes on to point out that used cars are being advertised at pretty much list price or even with a premium over list.

What's your point, Pistonheads?
This. Bizarre article scratchchin
Yup, this^^^^

(or are they trying to say that they are not commanding the same premium as the Fezza?)

Are there many 991 GT3's knocking about for £130K? Also a very very different car.

I think someone rightly pointed out, why have this when you can get a used Aventador for that price? Or a Murcielago and some change. I think while it is a good looking car, it is also a bit sedate. Not enough ASBO and rowdyness.

I do feel abit sorry for the Hurican, it's a product of the market that no one wants. It's been made to be more friendly and easy to drive around town, but its also been given a savage amount of power and outlandish looks. It's a lot more impressive than a 458 in the flesh, but the 458 is such a bloody good car that everyone thinks why have anything else?

I am a diehard Ferrari fan, but i would honestly have the Huracan. There's just something about it i really like, but at the same time i don't like how its been dulled down for a market that doesn't really want it.

I'll stop rambling on now about cars i cant afford laugh

Sedate, seriously, it is anything but sedate.

The Galliardo has been the best selling Lamborghini ever suggesting that customers don't actually want the crazyness usually associated with the brand. I too would not want to be branded by the nut job versions of Lamborghinis. Chap in Edinburgh has an Aventador Spider... and looks a real twonk! Why have one of those when you only drive in a city?
So, a nice Maserati Granturismo or an Aston Vantage please.

Simple, it's not Lambo enough. The Gallardo while still restrained was just the perfect shape with perfect proportions. It looked good standing still and you instantly new it was a Lambo. This car looks too generic IMO. It could be anything and it has a few odd angles where it really does look like a bad Korean copy of a Lambo. Lastly it's too Audi-fied inside and out.

They need to tell Audi to ps off and stop meddling and let them loose again. The new Aventador SV is a perfect example of Lamborghini let off the leash.

The problem is, the Huracan, 458 and 650S are all much too ugly (goppingly hideous in the 458's case), dull, bland and tech-laden to appeal to the traditional enthusiast. The Noble M600 is all right but rather generic in styling and also turbocharged. If it had a N/A V12 and Italian styling I'd be more taken with it. As it is, I can't help wonder what I could get a Murcielago SV and convert it to RWD/manual for... but, of course, I am not in these manufacturers' target market. I'm sure they'll sell in untold thousands to nouveau-riche footballers, bankers and Shanghai property developers.

I can't agree. Although it can certainly tear up the road as a supercar should ultimately it is lacking excitement, it felt very cold to me. Standing looking at it makes the heart race, driving it left me strangely underwhelmed.

I'd be too tempted to buy a better Lamborghini if i had that kind of money.

£166k

Or save myself a packet and buy what i reckon most potential Huracan purchasers are getting instead:

£110k

Well I think it looks great, maybe though at this price there is a glut of used Mclarens to tempt buyers and why not just buy the cheapo new mcclaren they will all do 70mph on motorway so gets job done nicely.

Gallardo Superleggera or Performante, plus change for me. Or a Manual 560-2 (if I could find one!).

They still look incredible to me.

I think the styling is a bit to Audi & not enough Lamborghini IMO having had a friend who had one I have to say it's a great drive but style wise even he admits his LP570 had more visual drama. It's still a great car though
