I don't understand the article. It starts out by suggesting that the market value of cars is an indicator that they're not selling, then goes on to point out that used cars are being advertised at pretty much list price or even with a premium over list.
What's your point, Pistonheads?
This. Bizarre article What's your point, Pistonheads?

The design (or lack of) of the Huracan really lets it down, I think.
The Fezza is much prettier and if it was my money (in an alternate universe), I would plumb for the car that has a lot more daylight between it and an A4 2.0 TDi
Hello Mr Beardy mister how are you? I must disagree with you, I feel this is one very beautiful motor!!! But of course I respect your view on this matter. The Fezza is much prettier and if it was my money (in an alternate universe), I would plumb for the car that has a lot more daylight between it and an A4 2.0 TDi

VAG have slowly eroded the passion and soul from the Lamborghini brand.
Such a shame they have now become boring compared to Ferrari.
Arguably VAG Saved Lamborghini, but the mothership does seem to interfere a tad too much where Fiat leave Ferrari to its own devices pretty much - general reliability can't be a bad thing though? In my eyes the Aventador is much more of an occasion but as a vehicle to own the Huracan would be a much easier option to live with - its far narrower and shorter than an aventador with a much better gearbox, not quite as low etc. Such a shame they have now become boring compared to Ferrari.
Also I remember reading an Evo Article about driving an F12 and Aventador in Italy and the locals didn't pay much attention at all to the F12 next to the Aventador and that itself I think speaks volumes for the design at least, yes its shouty and flamboyant but thats what they're meant to be! I also think the SV looks great although think the rear wing could've looked a bit better and an impressive 'ring lap time too.
I guess I don't quite understand what you mean by they have completely lost their sole? Manual is no longer an option, and they traded AWD to appeal to a wider customer base? Hmm

The Galliardo has been the best selling Lamborghini ever suggesting that customers don't actually want the crazyness usually associated with the brand. I too would not want to be branded by the nut job versions of Lamborghinis. Chap in Edinburgh has an Aventador Spider... and looks a real twonk! Why have one of those when you only drive in a city?
So, a nice Maserati Granturismo or an Aston Vantage please.
I highly suspect the owners wallet can stretch somewhat further than the two options you just mentioned, he's probably been there and done that... If he wants to drive an Av Roadster, let him... just a different choice you would make. And a Maserati Granturismo is equally wide and long, although without being low to the ground and have letterbox visibility... So, a nice Maserati Granturismo or an Aston Vantage please.
Its each to their own, what may work for one person won't work for another e.g. most people can't drive their toys to work or won't through fear of clients/customers etc turning up etc.

For the most I'd agree but check out the new Aventador SV for an example of Lambo being let off the leash a bit. A Lambo should be more like the SV and less like an Audi R8 in drag imo.Such a shame they have now become boring compared to Ferrari.
£200 (ish) K on a Fezza or Lambo... I know where my money would be going.... http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...
For me I think there are three big challenges for the Huracan:
1) It feels like a Gallardo face lift rather than a completely new car making it feeling a bit outdated at launch
2) The multiple poor reviews based on too much under-steer put off many keen drivers and hurt the wild bull image
3) Lots of more exciting alternatives to choose from e.g. McLaren 650S/675LT, 911 GT3/GT3 RS and of course the new Ferrari 488
If I was in the market for a Huracan I would be waiting for the Superleggera version before parting with my own money.
