Would anyone knowingly buy a ringer even if A, It was ringed to perfection. B, It was a really desirable collectible car. And C, It was fully a quarter of the price it should have been ?

If you know it's a ringer, it won't be long until someone else works that out.

Buying a ringer, when you know it is, makes you as bad as the criminals.

Its just like buying stolen goods from your local chav, they provide the service, you're the customer. I suspect everyone here has, whether they know it or not. How am I supposed to know if a set of alloys are stolen or just cheap as they want rid?

Anyone buying goods from your local chav needs their head looked at. No, I would (and do) avoid anything which has questionable origins. Having been the victim of many instances of theft over the years (living in SA raises that risk considerably), I know how it feels to have your possessions taken by life's undesirables.
