Ouch! I miss mine 😭, I had a very similar spec though a earlier facelift non-traction control example, I bought a manual E46 M3 coupe after it and while certainly quicker and arguably a more accomplished performance car, it never had the same feel good factor about it. People genuinely stop and ask about an S2000 where as the most the M3 got was "nice car....my mate Louie just bought a Beemer like that... cost him £2k" referring to a 31x four pot of some description (likely covered in M badges, name and shame them!). Whilst I purchased a M3 for driving not for what other people make of it (trust me you will not get let out of junctions, though this might be the case for any black BMW with 19in wheels on it) it is always nice to get a complement or two. For me the S2000 is much more of a "experience" (cliche, I know, I know) to drive. The way it rushes to the rev limiter and the accompanying noise is something special. You probably won't find a nicer gear change on a car south of £100k either. They're not the best thing to jump into on a cold wet November Monday morning (mine was a daily) and they can be snappy (a good geometry check and set up is a must) but if you can live with that or if it is going to be a second car there is not a great deal else out there (RWD wise) for the money with as much feel good fun factor. TVR Chimaera? Yes, though you'll be lucky to find a average one at the price of a decent S2000. Boxster? Ten a penny. Can't recommend one enough... I think I'm talking myself into another!

Had one for 4 years, it did bite me badly in the end for just a lift of the throttle at three figures on a slight motorway curve. I couldn't catch it and ran out of skill. But loved it and went loads of places in it. Never skimp on tyres, you will regret it. Totally reliable. The wife still bangs on for another one even though she has a Boxster now (Don't mention the £7k bill for an IMS failure on the last Le Mans trip)

Fantastic cars, not without faults, but brim full of character and charisma. Mine is sadly gone now, but I loved every moment behind the wheel (OK, except for maybe the last 5 or 6 seconds...)

Great pictures. I cannot believe that Honda did not replace it. It was such an iconic car, great fun and very reliable. If Honda increase the S660 by 50% in physical size and give it 380bhp for Europe then I might be tempted:
