I do not like these cars so much and in Japan they are very much associated with Rapists (this true story) because we have had 3 or 4 very high profile cases where a rapist used this car. I am not sure why this is Mr Dan but I feel it best not to promote this sort of car as it has been linked to un lawful behaviour and the police are very harsh on the few of these cars in Japan because of duty taxes are ver very rare. I personally like it though at risk of sounding as a rapist although the colour is like a 1980s hot tub which I don't care for!

Hello Mermaid yes this is correct, many apartment houses and sporting jerseys skip 4. Many hotels skip the 4th floor,. There is also much wordplay involved such as 24 can become nishi, aka double death 2 can become shini, aka “death”, I once knew of an old homosexual man on the street next to where I work and him name translated into the meaning of "number 4" and because of this he would not even be given a library card or drivers liscence, this is very serious bad luck number not just in japan but many parts of Asia!Guvernator said:

Pricey ? Compared to what ? They're £50k.
No they are £57k and by the time you add some options which should come with it already, you're looking at £65k but this isn't a problem that is only restricted to BMW. I'm not sure why or when it became acceptable that a top of the range model didn't come with all the toys. Even Lexus who were the last bastion of the "fully loaded" car seem to have caved in. Playing on a configurator the other day I added about 6-7k of extras which IMO should be standard on a premium car without even trying.
Gadgets depreciate immediately and add weight IMO.

We have the same problem but with HGV's.nickfrog said:
No they're £49.8k (£56.6k - 12% discount). I find the std spec superb. There is nothing else I would want to add on a manual M3. It even comes with pro nav and MP.

Where are people getting these 12% discounts? I must be going to the wrong car dealers. I've never been offered a £7k discount on any of the cars I've bought and trust me, I do haggle.Gadgets depreciate immediately and add weight IMO.
Just use the brokers as a guide, like Coast to Coast or the likes, then contact a few to see by how much they could beat that. Borrow just enough from BMW FS to trigger their own support and settle quickly (no fees). 18% is easily achievable on a M135i for instance. It not about haggling it's about leverage and understanding of how they operate. There is also an element of luck, right timing, etc
