If it was in good working order, why not. Until the early 1990's Mercedes made unbreakable cars and this would certainly get you noticed in the best possible way. I have seen one in London and people just stopped and looked in amazement. I need one in my fantasy garage.

Wonderous piece of automotive engineering excellence.

As said by others, SWB version for me too.

One of my all-time dream cars. I'd want that sort of spec in SWB.

I think nothing of the time, or even since its creation, touches it for its magnificent oppulence.

I saw one a couple of years ago in central London, and the thing was just jaw-dropping. It commands respect and has some serious presence.

There was a black SWB one for sale in the UK not so long ago for around the £90k mark.

The ex-dictator's one has a round red button on the console between the rear facing seats that the one for sale by Brabus does not. I wonder what diplomatic/security feature it activates...

It plays 'I'm So Ronery' through the external speakers.

You can actually hold the meeting in the back of the car.
A towering achievement for MB.

I was out for an evening cycle a couple of weeks ago and saw this parked up a couple of streets from me

That would take the place of the XJ very nicely... (measures drive....)

I've seen the one for sale at Samuel Laurence and it's in really great condition. I can't believe how comfortable the seats are and the hydraulic windows are the coolest thing ever biggrin
