RE: Alfa Romeo Giulia - official!
Discussion
There's already a 10 page thread running on this but I'll reiterate here. It's a very "safe" design which I am a little disappointed by, take a dash of BMW 3 series here, some Audi A4 there and mash them all together.
However it is still the best looking car in that rather boring class right now. I just wish Alfa had taken a bigger risk to give it a bit more wow factor.
Now if they can make it drive halfway decent, sound like Alfa's of old and most importantly give it a good finance package, it'll sell like hot cakes.

Pity they haven't released specs of the engines the majority will buy and rather odd to concentrate on the M3 equivalent version of a car you are pushing as specifically not being Germanic.
If there's a V6 in reasonable tune I'd be very interested - the 335i or S4 version. I'd probably look a at high output 4 but would need to be convinced by it against 6 cylinder opposition.

As a starting point, and for context, I do have to say that I think that most recent Alfa's look fabulous. Regardless of their actual driving experience, I even like the looks of the Mito.
Unfortunately, the Guilia, has just come a little too late. Looks far too much like the latest 3 series for my liking. I wouldn't mind, but if anything I prefer the new Mazda6, which I think looks fabulous.

Sounds like carbon and aluminium are mentioned.
I like the look of it. I love the look of the 159 and I am sure when I get used to this I will like it almost as much. I don't think the 159 was a particularly brave design either but the front looked great. The front of this looks a bit flat like the 3 and 5 series but maybe that is to do with safety now?

I like the really short boot and the rear 3/4 angle. It's those headlights....I'm really not sure!http://youtu.be/kVrhbj9ds3s

One things clear though....we're into curvy, cuddly alfas now, it would seem. No sharp creases or straight lines.
It's quite Infinitiesque in that regard.....
