No interior shots, but a 510hp RWD Alfa is good news, means I'll have a choice other than another M car.

Thank you for posting this. To finally have a choice that's not German is brilliant! Let's hope it's here within a year along with an XE-R

I'm disappointed by that, it's too similar to most of the other ste on offer from Audi/BMW etc.

I'll buy a second hand 159 estate, which is still the best looking estate car ever.

How much Ghibli in that I wonder?
Lots.

Peel back the skin and I'd be very surprised if they they weren't identical underneath, chassis wise (as per the VAG Everything).

I wonder if there will be a warm Ti version. The 159Ti is a fabulous looking thing.

Same V6 engine as well I think.

I like it, as a former 159 Saloon owner. I look forward to seeing the estate. As mentioned above, the 159 estate was a great looking car.

Alfa need to get the whole ownership package right for this really to succeed. My bet, judging from the effort that appears to have been made with the car, is that they will do much better in that area than previously.

That looks lovely with those wheels and the natty cloverleaf.

Very nice...I like the front a lot, it's got a bit of the 156...is the top of the range Quadrifoglio Verde an all wheel drive?
In the above video (the white Giulia) that bloke says: "rear wheel drive versions and integrale (4x4)"...

"semi-virtual steering axis" which "optimises the filtering effect and guarantees rapid, accurate steering by keeping a constant caster trail in corners."
You mean exactly the same as BMW and Audi have been using for the last 10 years?

Note the double lower control arms, generating a virtual steering axis centre point.

It's not floating my boat I'm afraid. It looks a little, dare I say it, generic?

Actually, if you took the badges off, it could even be Korean.

That frontend should have been..and I'm pretty sure, could have been......so much more iconic and triumphant

as is it's not terrible ........just a whole lot of :|

Safe and derivative like the XE. I am sure it will drive well etc. It needs to be beautiful and not macho. They have done the same as Jaguar and produced a safe and polished design to sell in a safe and dull market. Expect shades of metallic grey, black, white and red with a hint of grey; gangsta tinted windows.

I like it and I love the idea of a Ferrari-engined Alfa with 503bhp, 1500kg, with a double wishbone front end and rear multi-link and all that trick carbon! Hmmm, yes please lick

Stunning.

The performance figures are pretty insane for a RWD car.

Glad I looked at the You Tube clip of the white one as from the pics of the one in red I was distinctly underwhelmed.

Now, I'm thoroughly whelmed.

Looks a mess to me - like the Chinese made a clone of an Alfa - it looks a mix of 3 series, Jag with an Alfa grill stuck on the front.

Should have made similar to an Alfa 155 or 156 - i.e.original not similar to everything else and then with an Alfa front as an afterthought - the 159 was a lovely looking car - this isn't close.
