5 months on and no one has driven it, Alfa could learn a thing or two from Apple: "Announce and ship"

In a 100 years Alfa haven't learnt anything. They're probably still using Talbot-Lago as a benchmark, let alone Apple.

Good luck with that. I went to a dealership hoping to get some clarity on the process and was met with overwhelming indifference. In fact the guy actually slated Alfa Romeo - gues he's not too used to selling and has never heard of Gerald Ratner but it did remind me that one aspect of Alfa ownership I don't miss is naff the service.
My dealer is a lot better but they're still getting thoroughly pissed off at Alfa for all the delays. They haven't even got an order book to open yet on the QV, never mind the normal models. For a glorious return to being market leader, this new rejuvenation is going pretty badly already! Sadly, the salesman I usually deal with has had enough and is moving over to Ford. They're also being moved as the Seat and Suzuki franchises they share a site with are outselling them vastly, but have no firm plans on where to relocate to...unless Western drop Alfa altogether leaving no Scottish dealers at all....and we only have two to start with!
Alfa, Alfa UK and the Alfa dealer network making an absolute pigs ear of a new car launch and sale? Noooooooo, never...biggrin
