I don't think anything(*) with 6 or 8 cylinders is a ladylike/poofta means of travel. Likewise hooning in an S2000 at the end of the rev range is more likely to cause something to exit ones holy ring rather than invite entry.

(*)those cars designed to be coupes/convertibles, rather than a shopping trolley with the roof cynically cut off.

Also, it doesn't take Stephen Hawking to realise a load of reasons why the roof might be up in hot weather. More luggage space (2x), evading pollen, pollution, stench, cooling down with AC, roof broken, unstable hair-dos, about to cain it up the autobahn etc. etc.
But mainly AC on when it's this hot. smile
you are not going fast enough!!

Only 4 reasons for having the roof up
- its raining
- you really really really need the boot space
- its broken
- someone in the back on a 4 seater

IMO convertibles are for bisexuals and women, but like the common response, drive whatever you fancy and enjoy it. Ignore what everyone else thinks!

The only reason I keep the skoda is because my grandma gave it to me as a present before she passed. My aim is to keep it in tip top and prestige condition because that is what she would have wanted. It will stay as a garage queen forever if I can manage that lol! Personally I'm looking to get an F type coupe when they drop in price a little, stuck between the v8 and v6 though! Any opinions on which to go for would be appreciated.

I didn't think the kids broke up until next week! Be fair to the lad, he probably just means a scale model.

Isn't it supposed to be "wikkid" or some other mangling of spelling to be hip?

But is "hip" what the kids are using today? Maybe it is "rad"?

I'm more concerned how I tell me wife. But then, I think she always suspected something was up.
