I just brought an AMG S GLE (not the coupe).
It's a great car and far superior to the FFRR I sold a few months back.
Tows 3.2t so that's my boats and trailers covered, picks up 3 clients with ease yet is still great fun.
I actually find the suspension too soft, in all modes. Steering feedback is okay but it is a 4x4. My F-Type has better steering feel but it's not really a far comparison.
The brakes are superb!
I lost the electric over hydraulic braking system on my Four Winns trailer (about 3 tonnes) but that didn't phase the GLE!
Anyhow, I do understand the haters (it's a very British thing BTW) but hey, if you have the means then I thoroughly recommend it.
