996 Turbo around 30k just watch them rise in the next few years.
IMO that is what, I would buy now if I was in that position.
Just like the 930 did pre 07 under 20k now silly money 45k-75k+
Not seeing it myself. For some reason the 996 Turbo seems to be the unloved ginger stepchild of the 911 Turbo family.IMO that is what, I would buy now if I was in that position.

My low mileage Z3M Coupe has increased by £11/12K in the last year my M3 Evo Cab has doubled and even the 840 Sport has gone up £3/4K all with the added benefit of enjoying them...!
Genuine question, but what are you basing these numbers on? What you're being offered trade in? Classified adds? Or finding out the actual sale price? Alfa SZ. With the revival coming into full swing, values that have already started climbing, will start to soar. There are only 56 left in the UK with 32 being SORN. Get a good one at £40k and sit back...
I'd also predict a gradual climb in good Evo values, especially the VII-IX range, as production has stopped and they've been generally undervalued until now.

I'd definitely agree with the SZ, good call. Not so sure on the later Evo's though. I think if you wanted to invest in one, you'd be better off with the Evo 6 Tommi Makkinen edition. Not sure the later versions are rare enough or carry quite the same kudos.I'd also predict a gradual climb in good Evo values, especially the VII-IX range, as production has stopped and they've been generally undervalued until now.

The Tommis, I reckon, have already settled out as investor material. But a good IX FQ360 or even an X FQ400 would be a good bet to at least double your money. Won't earn you a mountain, but they won't lose anything. Integrales, I feel, have already peaked as well. The Integrales are a strange beast. You get some for £15k and then some are in £50k plus la la land and I am talking about the last of the line Evo 2' so exact same model. Not really sure why that is?
I do think they are still undervalued though. As successful as the E30 was in it's own field and yet nowhere near the values of the E30 Evo's.

However for some reason A/C stuff went mad price wise.
When you start seeing articles like this in the mainstream press you surely have to think that you have already missed the boat and that we are nearing the top of a bubble:

On the other hand, if you are just talking about one year, it may be that classic car prices won't collapse until interest rates rise significantly, which they may not do for another couple of years, so you might get away with it. It would still seem foolhardy to risk a hard-earned house deposit, though.

I'd go for a Ferrari 360 spider.
It's the oldest Ferrari that still looks and feel modern and has already appreciated by 25% in three years.
I think the launch of the latest entry level Ferrari will increase prices further as the model moves further away as a new car.
The 488 will be £200k plus so that'll make 360's look very attractive.
I accept it won't have e performance of the newer model but to most it's still a Ferrari and many look like new to the general public.
I have one :-)

Alfa Romeo SZ or RZ, they've been undervalued for years. Although I've been saying that for years and they're still cheap, so maybe you'd need to hold on to itlonger than a year.
Joe Macari has an RZ up for £65k which is maybe £30k more than it would have been a year ago, so I guess he's confident he can lift the market to meet it.

I don't quite understand the fascination with M3 CSLs, which have popped up on here quite a few times. I've always just thought of it as an M3 with a cardboard boot and tyres you can't use in this country. Given that the bog standard version is headed straight to council estate / drug dealer territory at the moment why would the CSL version be much different.
Is the 4C out of production yet? that's not a bad shout as I don't think a bad word's been said about those (pimply headlights aside).

left field choice.
vw aircooled- but models like the T2 split screens.
Specifically 21/23 window samba's.
If I had the cash I'd be looking at importing, restoring and then selling on. They are big big money.
You could do all of the above for well under your 50K I suspect. there are also plenty of rusty ones here that need proper restorations by competent people, not vw garages having a good go.
