Yes this post is maybe a tad light on high brow motoring matters, but what the hell......who rememberss 'Feu Orange' traffic light car air fresheners. Nothing reminds more of my motoring mad youth as sitting along side my old man in his Vauxhall Victor with the unique aroma of a 'Feu Orange' air freshener with complete with pin to stab it a few more times let more liquid out ....

Bring back 'Feu Orange' I say ! ......

Didn't know WTF you were on about.
Until all that jazz put the link up and it all came flooding back.
My dad used them as well,he's a skin flint.
Going on week or day trips with that smell great days.

I have fond memories of smelling Feu Orange and Volvo leather and puking into an ice cream tub.

Surely the pin used to puncture the liquid and act as a holder is way too dangerous for todays mollycoddled society?

Probably, I had to locate a new old stock one on Ebay and it cost £20 but my car now smells like the 1970's.

J4CKO you are my retro hero ! Huge respect 1) for keeping Feu Orange alive and 2) having the commitment to spend 20 quid doing so . Brrrilliant !

Health and Safety! rolleyes
The 'clip on' version (without the pin) probably doesn't match up to the original (poor amazon reviews).

Ah yes despite the modern day health and safety carry on I fear to be true to the original the pin must be present . Great also for clearing a blocked windscreen washer jet !

I had no idea what you were talking about until I saw the photo. It's all come flooding back. I think my mum's friend had one in her Calibra in the late 90s...
