There is not one of these cars I would not be proud to own.

Great collection!!!! Fiat Coupe for beer money ( albeit quite a bit of beer. ) is inspired choice .

One thing to note though, the Z3.. A car which completely diss interested me since it's launch , even sharing the road 5 years ago with a mate in his Z 3M on a 10 day Alps jolly did not make me pay it any attention. BUT I have utterly and completely changed my view on these cars, I think they are absolutely fantastically styled and dare I say iconic styling wise for their era?? Needs to be a 2.8 or 3.0 at least for me, but the Z3 is on my radar now. The coupe version he covets is a step above granted, sure fire Classic , but the wobbly Z3 ( TIFF said ) is a thing of beauty for me.

Thanks for all of the comments on my 100k Garage selection. It's interesting how the Clio V6 has attracted the most debate; cars, like people it would seem, are often more interesting due to their supposed flaws...

My actual, real "garage" comprises of just the one car; it was featured as a Carpool last month and you can read it here if you are interested.

Easily my favourite £100k garage so far. I've always loved the Clio V6 and throwing an M Coupe and a Mk1 Golf GTI in to the mix too... Lovely!

Well Caesar, what can I say, apart from maybe "spooky"...

I currently own both a Z3M Coupe and a Fiat Coupe 20VT...

and, my last 'future classic', sold only a couple of years ago, was a BMW 635CSI!!!

Are you stalking me or what?

At last after the winners, investment car gagrages and German only, one chosen because of a love for the cars.

Excellent choices.

BMW Z3 M coupe proces are getting a bit silly but can see why you chose it.

Clio, excellent. The French do lary and oddball better than anyone. Few people can respond to what have you got in your back seats, oh a V6.

Golf, beautiful. Look at how simple and elegant it is.

Fiat, the only Bangle design, except perhaps the Z4M Coupe that has aged well.

Well done.

You don't buy a Clio V6 for its 0-60 time. You buy it for its road presence, its uniqueness and the sound it makes. No slouch once on the move either.

A week after writing my 100k Garage, I can happily say that I wouldn't change any of my choices - though there's a few loin-stirring saloons that would easily elbow their way in...
