Mx5/Roadster vs. nothing = Mazda
Isn't the next GTV going to be a restyled Mazda? Surely that would make up for all other losses on Alfa's part?Or did they decide that'd be an Abarth in the end?
Anyway....

Although a later story in the same magazine confirms the switch to Abarth

The fact that you can buy 3 Mazdas for the price of one Alfa supports the argument that Mazda are better.
I had a MX5 in 2001-2003. Loved it and only got rid due to house buying and family requirements. With hindsight should have kept it as virtually gave it away.
Since then had a run of ordinary, Audi, Skoda, Ford and Volkswagen. Last year (still needing a family workhorse) picked up a new Mazda 6 estate.
1. They are not (as) mainstream.
2. They're fun to drive.
3. They just work. All the others have had niggly faults (except for the Ford which needed to be AA recovered 3 times in its first 3 years).
