It is worth asking filling station whether CCTV footage is available, for when he (when located!) maintains that YOU drove into HIM?
I have had this! I wasn't even in the fking car, I was walking back to it. I then threaten him with CCTV (CCTV in car park only covers the ATM), and he backed down. Simply amazed at what soemscuzzbags will do.T1berious said:
I will however be joining the dashcam brigade. unfortunately some people are just, well, morons.
Anyone know if dashcam footage can be used to backup an insurance claim? Or is it next to useless due to data protection etc?
How would a dash cam help against uninsured drivers? Anyone know if dashcam footage can be used to backup an insurance claim? Or is it next to useless due to data protection etc?
Hand all the info you have to the police and your insurers and see what happens. He may well have given false details in the hope that you won't find him, but if the plates are correct, it'll be registered to an address somewhere...
At launch, I was very very close to getting a 350Z, stuck with the Corrado and after selling the house there was some cash left over after the new house purchase. We talked about the Boxster S but figured the servicing costs on a Dealer Z4M would be lower, plus the Boxster S was about 25k the Zed was 19k.
Hammond described it as Fred Flintstones car. Pretty apt. Very analogue and even by today's standards quite rapid
