Anything west of the river Medway.
Is the truth.
Really? I would have thought it would be the other way around!
South eastern Kent generally seems to be a nicer, more rural and gentrified place to be than north west Kent...and I say that as a resident of the latter tongue out

Having lived in Kent (albeit briefly) in the past, I can't see the word class ever being used to describe any part of it... Matter of opinion of course.

I have to join a dual carriageway every morning at the top of my road from standstill, as it doesn't have a proper slip road. Most drivers don't bother to move over, as they would do if I was on a slip road at speed filtering in....this morning a guy saw me trying to join the carriageway and moved over. It doesn't happen often and I gave him a wave in appreciation...

The driver moving over for me showed a touch of class for simply being awake and attentive!

When I see an interesting car, here, in the west of brittany (france), half of the time it has an uk plate. And sometimes it's an old convertible classic. That's class.

Was behind a grey V8 BMW M(6 I think) coming out of Chester today. Looked like a customised car - had grey BMW badges, and grey M badge - sounded great.

Plenty of opportunities for him/her to hoon into the right hand lane and try and 'queue jump'/'make full use of the road' (depending on your point of view).......and I half expected them to do so(plenty of Vauxhalls etc did), but they just sat patiently in the traffic leaving a reasonable gap between them and the car in front.

We must have turned a few heads - I was in my V8 Vantage at the time. Quite a rare sight (and sound) to get two V8s grumbling along together all the way from Chester to Kelsall biggrin

It's classy when a powerful car isn't driven like a tosser. No points to prove, power is on tap if needed.
Yep - I'm with you.

Whenever I see a quick car making normal progress, I always tip my virtual cap to the driver.

I'll have you know, that some of my old primary school friends actually own their caravans.

On our way back to Calais from Italy back in 2013, we passed this burbling along at about 70-odd :

I had to roll the window down to give a big thumbup

Looked in the mirror to see both driver and passenger wave back.

For me it's got to be after market rear lights. Why would you want your Vectra to look like all the others when you can stand out with lexus style lights to add a touch of class and individualism to your machine?

Haha!!

I didn't mean to cause any offence to the people of Kent - I suppose I thought it was unanimous that Kent is not associated with the word class, or classy, in the same way Skegness or Blackpool aren't thought of as classy, even though there are some suburbs that the locals consider to be nice. Don't get me wrong, I've nothing against gold chains or the word geezer, it's all subjective really!
