With the Evora, Porsche, both the 911 and the Cayman.

With the Elise, primarily companies like Ginetta and Caterham. A small number of people (such as myself) might short-list an Elise and a Boxster for the same purchase but I very much doubt many people seriously continue to consider both once they've driven them; especially with the direction Porsche have taken the Boxster in with the 981. The Elise is as different in character from the Boxster as the Boxster is from something like a Merc SL.
