My current daily, a 2014 BMW 520d SE Auto. For what I need it for it's perfect and I'd probably consider another one next year when the lease is up but by god it's boring! At least it makes me appreciate the other cars I own a bit more.

2003 VW Polo 1.9 diesel. God it was slow, but it didn't ever let me down for the few years of having it, a true workhorse.

The quietly capable cars are by far the most boring I've owned, such as the E91 BMW 330i Auto. It had far more grip than power and all in an understeery chassis. Even my 1990 Volvo 1.7 460 was more involving to drive.

Mk6 Golf 1.6 TDi Bluemotion.

About as fun as ass-cancer.

86mpg on a run though.
I feel your pain (in the ass), my loan car from VW when my R32 was in for a service was a 1.6 blue motion Golf ''SV'' (Sports Van!?!?!!?!?!?)

it was so SLOW and DULL and border line dangerous pulling off roundabouts etc because it took so long to spool up, had to really time my exits.

I bought a Seat Arosa 1.0 as a cheap and cheerful 2nd car. Apart from it wasn't cheerful at all. Too much body roll and a lack of front grip meant the handling was no fun, and the engine red lined at 5000rpm meaning it wasn't even enjoyable to work it hard.

I thought all small cars were fun. I was wrong.

I quite liked mine but that was possibly more to do with the fact I had a Skoda Estelle 120L before it...so the Escort felt quick to me but obviously the Skud had far trickier handling characteristics...I managed to wrap it around a lamppost in the wet! hehe

My old Y Reg Ford KA. Alot of people seemed to think that they're fun and handle well. I couldn't disagree more.

On top of that it had no power at all, the brakes were straight up dangerous and pretty much non-existent and i couldn't stand to be seen in the thing.

However, it was pretty reliable over the 3 years i had it for and was pretty cheap motoring. I'd always recommend it as a first car to anyone.
I loved mine, culpz - thrashed it (in a nice way) around the Scottish Highlands on a few occasions, and had a blast on every B-road I could get on. I think it depends on what you get used to.

Anyway, my most boring car? I have to own up to leaving the Blue Oval for a Vauxhall on one occasion - and probably the last. Had a 'Vauxhall Red' (pinkish) MkII Cavalier with a whopping 1.3 engine. It was like driving a 1970's hairdryer-powered velour-tastic sofa whilst over-dosing on temazepam. Pensioners on mobility scooters would point and laugh as they out-dragged me at traffic lights. I would fall into a somnambulistic trance just looking at it in a morning before setting off to work. The engine blew up when it lost all its oil on the A63 in Hull at 50mph - which I think was it's top speed - and I was glad. I bought my lovely 2.0S Capri after that and fell back in love with motoring.

My current car. Citroen C1 on lease.

My old car went pop needed something asap but didn't have enough cash to pay for a decent shed. It suited my needs at the time of lease but I stupidly went for a 4 year deal to keep the monthlys down frown

It has however given me a greater appreciation for the things you take for granted in cars these days like bolstered seats, electric windows you can control from the drivers side, and a large boot opening, and being able overtake easily.

As I walk to work now my next steed is going to be loud, fast and impracticable biggrin

I had to use mine for motorway and trunk road surveys. Pulling off hard shoulders into 70mph traffic in a car that could barely pull the skin off a rice pudding caused a few bum-clenching moments to say the least!

Currently have a 2013 Volvo C30 T5 Polestar (1 of the 250 edition) imported from the USA.

It has 250 horses and it shouldn't be boring but it is, nothing is good on this car. From the steering, gearbox, engine, acceleration, sound, consumption, it goes around corners OK and at least it looks good in Polestar blue. It makes a Cooper S feel like a race car, and it shouldn't.

Sad story but it is the most boring and disappointing car I ever had, it was supposed to be fun...

My first car was a Mk3 Escort 1.3L.

However, that was not the most boring.......because my second car was a Mk5 Escort 1.3L.

1999 Renault Laguna 2.0 RN - so mind numbing boring I still have no idea why I bought it - rejoiced the day it ejected its oil through a split oil filter and seized the engine.

Another one was a 1993 K ford escort 1.3 - heavy mk4 body shape and old 1.3 cvg engine - that was a pig dog - K911 XPM - closest I've got to owning a 911

A 1990 Golf Driver.

I bought it new and sold it losing heaps of cash within 6 months and bought a 2nd hand RS Turbo.

I found a MK1 Scirocco GTI a bit dull too after having recently sold an RS2000 MK2.

A MK3 Golf 1.9 TDI. It was awful in every way. Even the colour was awful. Thankfully my time with it was short.

P reg 1.8 A4 Estate shed.
Slow, understeery, crap and not even seemingly well put together (mind you it was bought for shed money).
I would even rate the wife's old Mk3 1.4L Golf above it.
