You also need to see what else the vendor is selling on their website, you could spend a day there, by appointment.

The problem with all these old Bentleys is that if you are under 70 and buy one, you're gonna find that it's worth not a lot when the current generation dies off.

That's obviously not the case at all. Most of these cars are already owned by people much younger than the cars are, and values haven't gone down at all as a result of previous generations dying off. The same goes for anything, not just cars, otherwise you would be able to buy a cheap old castle to live in and fill it with worthless old antique furniture and art for less than the cost of new stuff.

Let's see.

In my opinion it's already happening; is anything actually selling at the fanciful valuations? The pre war stuff we are always assured is worth xyzzy millions?

Post war will be next.
