I know a family where the three lads are Emerson, Ayrton and Jenson.

Clearly a relaxed naming comittee

Thank you all

I like the idea of Archie or Tyrell, I was always a big fan of Ken, David Purley was a proper gent.

As to finding myself in the suprising (sic) position I have a 23 yr old son from marriage Mk l so not too much of a gap then, the thought of being mid 70s by the time he leaves home is scary, what should be toy manmaths purchases will become child/school fee spending also not being able to get grumpy when other peoples kids are making a racket in public will be greatly missed.

Got taken "buggy" shopping, my god they are the size of boat trailers now, tragically they don't fit in a 996, so less chance of him leaking/overflowing onto my nice clean interior.

If you call your son 'Tyrrell' he will never forgive you in later life.....

I'd go with something with connotations, but that he can ignore if he's a vegan anti-road campaigner in future life.

Jack (Brabham, .ie Stewart)
Gilles (if you're feeling brave)
James (Hunt, Clark, McRae)

Having named the last sprog 'Alfred' I was delighted to find 'Dino' is the foreshortened version of 'Alfredino' and therefore eminently 'nickable' as his new nickname.

If you're hardcore 1970's then Gerry or Marshall should suffice.

Friend of mine was called Bernd after the German racing driver of the 30's and 40's. His Dad was a big fan.
